I'm BAck witH cooking!!

Recently had BBQ party and WELL I was one of the chef!! yeahoo...so lets see what we had done!!



 Mozzarella cheese topped on hand-mashed Aussie Potatoes!! :D was sweet yet creamy !! we added full cream milk too :D
 Ayamas lovely yet simple nuggets! to make the work a lil lighter :D
Ahahhhaaa.. grilling those 'DEAD' chicken!! :D hot environment
but fun duh :P

lets Goreng those !!!!

Oppa Nasi Goreng Style!!!

Nasi goreng 'Fried Rice' is a very popular dish in Malaysia which is made with cold rice and fried with variety of receipe and style.

The name of the nasi goreng reflects its ingredient such as the picture below... its Called Nasi Goreng Paprik , made out with paprik chicken sauce. This dish usually can be found at most Thai or Malay eateries in Penang.


Nasi goreng Ayam: Delicious fleshy chicken topped to the fried rice. This dish is very common and can be tried at any mamak restaurants or food courts.


Nasi goreng Cina : Chinese style friend rice which is less spicy and egg will be significant ingredient.Usually given additional chili paste to those who needs it to be spicy.

Nasi Goreng Kunyit : photo taken at the Wok Fried Rice...  Made with turmeric powder , egg and prawns mixed well together. Simply delicious and healthy as it contains the goodness of Turmeric :)

Penang Famous Briyani with Tandoori Chicken


The Yummylicious Penang Island Briyani rice with Tandoori Chicken...


This is a type of sweet yellow rice ,not so oily and good to be eaten by those who don't like rice to be oily and prefers substitute for the daily boring white rice. This is a mouth watering dish served with fire grilled crunchy red tandoori chicken , some veggies and a cup of dhal curry 'Parupu curry'.

The exciting part is the bowl which the rice served on is made of brass and it preserves the authentic style of India Kashmir style yet the pot preserves it flavor and heat for a quite long time compared to normal bowl.

So where can we try this dish ? Okay... This shop named Kapitan at Little India ,Penang Malaysia.

Oh My Food!!!!

Vanakkam ! ! now its with a swet and flaming...  Favourite Spicy Indian Food !! :D



Made spicy and a little sweet that always meets an Indian's tongue , start from top left to right , its potato with vegetarian chicken curry , egg sambal , vegetarian fish curry and fried cabbage with all along crispy PAPADAM...

This is a South Indian cuisine which made with  receipe secured safely purely from India. The vegetarian dishes made from soy and feels spongy when biten.(psst.. the vege dishes are really tasty here :D )

The papadam is a savoury addition to make the food more crispier and tastier . Around Kepala Batas  nearby aucms there is only one Indian Restaurant named Prisma that serves good and reasonably priced Indian cuisine... The food taste as good as giant eateries in Penang ... and why not when you'll drop by K.Batas to try on this restaurant??

Yummy..it's Time for some Chilling Ice Kacang 

Ice kacang also known as ABC *Ais Batu Campur * as it refers best for its name because of the ice crushed mixed with variety of colourful beans,sago,jelly, cincau shredded thin and topped with creamer and syrup , sometimes with ice cream topping.


Malaysia is very known for its favorite ABC dessert due to hot and dry weather. Penang has variety of good spots to enjoy Abc and personally I always enjoy this at Penang road famous ice kacang stalls eventhough the stalls will be flooded with people craving for some cool dessert.  


It's a must to try these dessert if your visiting Penang Island as I  bet.. you will never regret. See ya soon with more food !!! makan makan :D

Sotong Goreng Tepung..... *Deep Fried Squid with Flour*


Mouth watering crunchy squid where can be eaten just like that or with rice..


These is a favourite Malaysian seafood dish as many prefer this to be less oil and cruncy ... especially to fried food lovers... *p/s me too :P

I love to try this dish specially at Bukit Tambun Seafood where they serve it hot and cruncy and most important for me ..it should be less oily.

Wan Tham Mee...

Made from home-made egg noodles, tender pork/chicken folded into small curry puff like sacs, topped with roasted pork/ chicken and secret old style seasoning...not to forget with pickled green chilies.
This delicacy can be served as dried or soup style....


A little bit more about this cuisine.... after decades , peoples had modified this recipe and added curry into it... so it taste more curry-ish wan tham mee... anyhow... original is always the best... have a try when drop by Penang.

This is also sold at its own flavor and traditional style at Gurney Hawker Stall...
