A night to be remembered forever !

well after 2 months of hardship and sleepless night , the dream of Allianze University Medical Students came true... to have a annual dinner together mixed with some charity ..

To those who are not familiar with Aucms ..let me give a brief intro about our beloved university ....

A small college university located at Kepala Batas, Penang that offers multiple courses mainly medicine (MD AUCMS ,MD UKM , MD USU) , Pre-Medic , Diploma & Degree Courses.It's good to have a small university enviroment as we students can mingle among us regardless the courses we uptake.Hmm...i guess that's enough for me to intro my uni ...lemme jump into our recent event that we especially medical students of MD Aucms organized.

It all started when I , and my two batch mates started to discuss about organizing an event before we leave for clinical years and the best part we have a very little knowledge on organizing. On May 3 , we gathered volunteers from our course mates itself and luckily there were few students who really came forward to help us out on organizing these event. We did an organization , paper works ( that took few weeks to be approved :P) , finding sponsor and bla bla blaaaaa...

Choosing the place to hand over our donation

We choose Pure Lotus Hospice Of Compassion Center as cancer is a killer disease and the treatment is extremely costly. These center takes in any cancer patients and gives them treatment without asking a single penny thus they are relying fully on donations from kind people around.

I and my family had traumatic experience on cancer...we lost our precious family member because of cancer and the we realize how much of money and support needed to battle cancer. haizzzzzzzzz....

We hope that all the medical students soon to be doctors will help out these kind of centers in future.To know further about these center.. click here :

The funding

These was the hardest part of all.. we need to come up with a new idea and ways to get funding to be donated to the center.

We decided to do the First Ever Aucms Medical Students Flash Mob at Little India , Penang and Global Indian Festival , Juru Autocity , Penang.

The training only took 2 days taking great effort from our coordinators Jaymoorthy and Vashi as well as those participating students. Repeated training and hardwork was our secret of success I would say..

The biggest day for all ..event DAY!!!

Our event held on 5th July 2014 at Dewan ILP Kepala Batas where it was packed with performance such as sketch , singing , dancing , cutest couple pictures , Mr & Ms of the Night plus Lucky Draws. Dinner was also provided catered from Sarawanas Restaurant , Perai.

A Wonderful Trip To DAN NOK THAILAND by My Lovely BIke

Few weeks back , i and my friend went to our neighboring country Thailand but not too far in..just to the Malaysia-Thai border town , called DANNOK.. in the Sadao province...

The unique thing here was for my first time , i took my baby FZ150i into the town without any previous experience or any mentor with me.What all i did was , took my passport , fotocopy of my motor grant and insurance copy.From penang all the way to Bukit Kayu Hitam then to Dannok.

the whole journey took me around 3 hours with adequate rest and refreshments.and my bad luck that it rained heavily which was a little difficult for me to ride as i could not see the road clearly.

Just for some good SPICY & YUMMY tomyum.. we sacrificed to travel all the way up there by means of saving petrol and toll money :P

so for those wants to head up to thailand by bike or wants some extra tips on travelling the BUDGET way :P be free to comment below.

My favorite stall as the fired chicken and mangoes sold was extra delicious :) YUmmy!

This was a superb exta spicy creamy typical thai tomyum :D

To compensate our tired legs and body walking around the town , we took our dinner at a restaurant beside Oliver plaza.. a bowl of tom yum cost rm 7 for 2 person with 2 plates of rice rm1 each. Compared to Malaysia..the tom yum was worth it as the ingredients (eg: prawns , squid and chicken mear ) was alot.
After that , with a full and happy stomach we proceed to our next spot... 

Night market Dannok

The Night Market (aka.Pasar Malam ) located just 2 rows before Oliver Hotel.This night market starts operating at 6pm.

The goods sold was fairly cheap ,not much difference to Malaysian price but its worth to stroll down as the fried foods will be delicious. (Psst : watch out for the hygiene of the stall , so that you wouldn't land up spending rest of the days in toilet :P )

Working hard and smart to mould a dragon :)

These guy here is moulding the glassrods into a beautiful handcrafted dragon with just using a bunsen burner and few colourful glassrods,..amazing right?

The price ranges from rm 3 - rm 50 depending on the product.
For an example.. a glass ring cost around rm 3 and a full-featured dragon could cost you rm 50.

Not only that , he also crafts name by glass itself that can be given to our loved ones.

With the Cute Honda FIno .. wish Malaysia had these kind of bikes sold commercially 

Say Cheese!!!! this bike would be a fav among hello kitty fans!

Ahhhh..that was all about my lovely trip to Dannok.. enjoyed the food there plus shopping.As mentioned always , becareful walking around the town especially ladies with handbags as few snatch-thief cases had been reported. I hope all had some tips on travelling to Dannok..especially students whose on tight budget.

BAck Again!! THis Time I'm a typical INDIAN!!

Hye There My Fellow Friend, I'm Back again to Bring you the best food in Malaysia especially Penang just to serve right for your tongue's!!!

Sorry for this very late post because I was having exams..for a month *sigHH* but don't worry... My tummy still grows big as a Pot! Wakakakkaa.... *eh nid to exercise d lo !*.. kenot makan2 too much.. no gud 4 health...

So toda's menu is ....... Taaadaaa...

A very special visit to "PASSIONS OF KERALA at NEW WORLD PARK,Penang.


The food there is all Based in Kerala type of food (Kerala is a Province in India).A lilttle similar to Indian food which can be found conveniently around the town but this is for sure it has it's own unique taste compared to other indian eateries.

At a extreamly reasonable price *can say cheap la* a banana leaf set meal would just cost you RM 5.80 for plain rice and Rm 6.80 for tomato rice. It comes with vegetables and pickels plus indian crackers*papadam*.. The best of all ..Its refillable for FREE!!


On the side, they have fish , chicken or mutton. Its all made in fried or curry as we see (from the top, chicken varuval and mutton varuval )
They were top in its class as it perfectly blends with the banana leaf meal set.
Not too expensive either ,the side dishes can be choosen from small ,medium or large dish.

For the drinks, normal regular drinks are served, the best there was the mango lassi.Its thick and fresh.
Be reminded... drinking warm plain water
when we eat oily food is the best as it cleans up any deposits and also reduces the promotion of fat deposition yet helps to enhance digestion.

Last but not least,I had a great time filling up my tummy and walked away happily as the kind waiter and manager waves us their hand and said bye and please come again..*definitely  i will come again again and again ..huhu*

So dudes ,please have a visit there ,at Burma road.walking distance from komtar or prangin mall..Have a good meal and don't forget to have a cup of Starbucks coffee too :D

CUTI-Cuti Malaysia

YEs...im back with foodstuffs, but now not only penang..but from johor, kl and singapore instead :)

Secret recipe fish fillet...wow..yummy!!! its a must try when ur dining at secret recipe outlet.the fish is very tender plus to add more taste.. cheese is spread over to enhance ur taste buds :D psst..tried at KSL MALL,JOHOR BAHRU.

nasi goreng ayam style Johor.. :D tasty beb :D believe me, the 'papadom' crackers with rendang gravy and hot fried chicken is definitely the best combination for nasi goreng :)

yes yes.. its the chef recomended chicken teriyaki pasta only found at Seasons cafe,under Swensens :)

Indian style curry chicken at kopitiam ,ksl mall,johor :)

spicy but tasty..mjust try :) best eaten with either bread or rice :)

Lastly, at the same kopitiam restaurant...very sweet and stomach filling nasi otak-otak is there to serve you right after a long walk in the large mall :)

Recently had BBQ party and WELL I was one of the chef!! yeahoo...so lets see what we had done!!

 Mozzarella cheese topped on hand-mashed Aussie Potatoes!! :D was sweet yet creamy !! we added full cream milk too :D
